3. When selecting fireproof glass as fireproof component, in addition to the fireproof durability of glass, its supporting structure and various elements must also meet the needs of fire resistance.
Single piece cesium potassium fireproof glass is subjected to ion exchange at high temperature for more than 20 hours through special chemical treatment to replace metal sodium on the glass surface to form low expansion silicate glass with expansion coefficient of 1.8 * 10-6 / 0f (3.24 * 10-6 / k), so it has high heat resistance. At the same time, after physical treatment, high-strength compressive stress is formed on the glass surface, which greatly improves the impact strength. The strength of single cesium potassium fireproof glass is 6-12 times that of ordinary glass and 1.5-3 times that of tempered glass.
The advantage of single piece cesium potassium fireproof glass is that it has little to do with the working temperature, but it can withstand the impact of heat wave and the rapid change of temperature, which depends on the specific heat capacity (which can affect the heating rate), thermal conductivity (the rate and distribution of heat passing through the glass) and thermal expansion rate of the glass. At the same time, the single cesium potassium fireproof glass can withstand the quenching treatment from 300 ℃ to cold water.
Compared with traditional grouting fireproof glass, single cesium potassium fireproof glass not only has high strength and convenient installation, but also has the characteristics of good weather resistance. Chemical grouting fireproof glass is prone to bubbles in the production process, but it quickly turns milky white under the action of ultraviolet radiation and flame, losing the basic function of transparent glass and unable to observe the fire! The single cesium potassium fireproof glass still maintains its transparent function without any change under the action of ultraviolet and flame.
