The fireproof glass comprises at least two glass sheets, and a transparent fire-resistant material composed of solidified hydrated polysilicate acid-base metal salt is placed between the glass sheets. At least one piece of glass has a primer on the surface in contact with the fire-resistant material. Its adhesion to the fire-resistant layer will decrease at the temperature of the fire-resistant performance test. At the temperature of fire resistance test, the glass sheet exposed to the fire can be completely separated from the fire resistance data. Therefore, the polysilicate refractory baffle is still intact, even when the glass exposed from the fire bursts and fragments fall.
The early fire-proof glass is a variety of composite products. Because of the characteristics of data and structure, most of them have low permeability, heavy weight and severe disadvantages, mainly because the organic data is aging and the service life is too long, so they must be replaced regularly. Therefore, it is generally only used for the treatment of fireproof doors and windows, and only a few special occasions can form a transparent wall.
Fire resistant glass should mainly pay attention to the following problems:
(1) . fire resistance of supporting data and structure
Glass is only a kind of building material. It cannot form a separate part of fire prevention. It is only the components that will be installed together with its fixed and acceptable components (such as window frame, glass curtain wall support system, etc.) (such as fire doors and windows, wall cutting or skirt, etc.) can play the corresponding effect.
(2) . be careful when forming a firewall
The fire resistance of a single piece of fireproof glass (only satisfied with the requirements of fire resistance integrity) is limited to 90 minutes (1.5 hours). The fire protection constraint of firewall specification is 3 h (or 4 h), which requires its fire resistance and fire insulation (i.e. equivalent to some type of fire-proof glass).
